Our Beliefs
We Believe
· We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and that it gives us doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction on how to live a righteous life through Jesus Christ (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
· We believe that the Word of God is not open to private interpretation of men and their traditions, and accept as truth what is written in the Holy Bible. We try our best to lay aside the traditions of men and the world and to be obedient to what Jesus tells us to do in His Word. As a congregation, we walk through the Bible with an open mind and a pure heart, seeking to let the Word of God change us forever (2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 4:1-5).
· We believe that there is one Lord, one faith, and one baptism. Our Lord, Jesus Christ, was God, manifest in the flesh. God came to this earth as a man, born of a virgin, to save us from our sins and give us eternal life. Jesus came to establish His church. The church is not composed of buildings and congregations, but rather individuals who seek the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. We believe in water baptism for the remission of sins and resurrection to a new life. Please see our section on salvation for more information.
